So I am sure that y'all have heard the new Nickelback song 'pictures'. It is a great one...in fact it is a contender for the 'song of the fall'! Anyway, the line I want to bring to your attention is the one regarding how is it time to say good bye. I hate to say good bye, but I did it!
Here is my summer's top ten things I learned/did this summer....
10. Yellowstone is a great land of sulfur and laughs.
9. You can get a lot of loot on the last day of Marketplace at the ADHA convention.
8. Cedar Breaks still had 6+ foot snowdrifts at the end of June.
7. I have never seen Navajo Lake higher than it was this summer.
6. Cedar Mtn and Zions national park suffered great rock and mud slides this spring, so hiking this year was like hiking it for the first time!
5. If I was Guinevere I would have chosen Lancelot (aka Micheal Shannon) in the Shakesperean Festivals production of Camelot.
4. David Ivers and Brian Vaughan ROCK! They performed wonderfully in 'Stones in His Pockets’.
3. How many hot fire Cheeots followed by a Salt and Vinegar Chip can you eat? Me…1 of each (heartburn lasted for days).
2. The squirrels in Zions nat park can open backpacks to get your fruit snacks!
1. Cedar City is a wonderful place!
There you have it! That pretty much highlighted my summer. It really is time to say goodbye to summer and a big hello to fall!
