A Symbiotic Relationship

Has anyone noticed the relationship between the good old American fast food chain, McDonalds and Walmart? I am speaking from a limited experience (only Utah). It seems to me that inside or very near each Walmart is the ever-present McDonalds. It makes me wonder...when did these two big dogs make their bed? Apparently the corporate daddies made it a long time ago. So, after America shops at the industry killer they can go harden their arteries at the fast food king. Life does not get better than that!! Good Bless America!

Another day....

.....another clean mouth! My brother Brent drove 3 hours just to let me clean his teeth! How great is my family! They love me so much, and I them!

…..another dream about Rob Thomas. Ok, so I am just kidding. I am really not obsessed with the great songwriter, but I love his new cd!

.....another year older. Yup, I had a birthday. It was a wonderful day. Not only do I have super great family members who called and I am so thankful; but also I have great friends. I have twin friends who indulge my Dear Frankie fetish and saw the movie for the second time. They are a dear pair! I have a new friend who bought me ice cream (even if his cone eating skills need honing); an old friend who bought me the very thing I wanted most but have not purchased!! A friend who gave me cheesecake, and one who gave me ‘beer of the root’, one who baked me cookies, one who sent a e-card, a mom who sent a card and a ‘Greasy Bear’ frame, a brother who bought me lunch, a boss who bought me lunch AND a donut! Some of you are thinking what a lucky girl; and you would be right!

….another reason it is GREAT to be me is that summer is almost here and that means only two more semesters until graduation!!

Who ever thought a Tuesday would be so great?

Let me remind you of the greatly anticipated solo album release by MR. ROB THOMAS! I cannot wait until I am out of classes so I can get to a store and purchase the disc of joy! Rob was on Leno last night and I must say he did a great job. Seeing him made me want to go to his concert tomorrow in Las Vegas even more that I already did. Sadly, I do not have a sugar daddy who would pay for my plane and concert ticket (applications are still being taken;). I am sure it is going to be a great show. Luckily, Rob will be on Leno again tonight!!! How great is my life?? Pretty great--minus all the class 2 cancellations I have had at the dental clinic. I swear I am going to get my 10 quads done during the last 3 sessions of the semester or I think I will be given a spot in the class of 2007!

Back to what is really important...Rob and Gerard! If you have not seen Dear Frankie I highly recommend it! It is a great film and worth your patronage! I will be seeing it again and probably a couple more times after that!

Ready or Not Here I Come!

Well world, here I am...the new SADHA president! I am a little surprised, my opposing candidate was a worthy opponent! Good luck to here and everything she does this summer!!! I am really excited to work so closely with SADHA! I am looking forward to the national convention in Las Vegas this summer! ADHA is a great professional organizations, and I am so happy to have the opportunity to learn more about it. I hope all future RDH's seriously consider their own personal membership in this great organization!!

Now on a lighter side, I was watching an episode of The Simpsons the other night. Homer was a door greeter at a store called 'Sprawl-mart'. Needless to say I was very amused with the episodes take on the great shopping center if the Simpson's universe! (Remember: I am a true blue Walmart hater) Ogden has been fighting pretty hard to prevent Walmart from coming into the city. My friends in Cedar City saw a news report about the protestors and they thought for sure I was going to be on TV! I thought that was pretty funny! My point is...I have to give kudos to the writers of The Simpsons for their daring to poke fun at one of the top 5 richest people in the WORLD (The Walton siblings)!

I hope each of you find humor in your little bubbles and may finals be one of them!
