Sad sad sad days

I have a cavity. I am so bummed, dissappointed, embarrassed and frustrated.

That is about all that has happened this week. Other than the highs this week being in the high 70's to low 80's. It has been so pleasant here in Portland! I love it!

oh I'm so sorry for you. I frequently wake up from terrible nightmares where I have cavities....

Join the club. I had a tooth break last year!! The filling broke and I didn't even know it for awhile, so I had it fixed and now it hurts like hell every time I bite on it. I am so terrified that the tooth is cracked, that I haven't gone back to have it fixed. Now I get why people hate the dentist...

Is there some unwritten law that dental hygienists can't have cavities?? I've hit the double digits in one visit to the dentist...Mair you have no reason to be embarrased! Speaking of the dentist...I should prob get my teeth cleaned...it's been a year. Who do you recommend at your old office?

Tooth problems are the worst. I am sure your dental hygiene is impeccable and this was just unavoidable. And I LOVE Portland weather...even when it rains!

I remember my first cavity. It was in hygiene school and I actually had two of them! It was devastating.

Was it recurrent decay OR in a molar without sealants?

I personally think sometimes no matter how well your oral hygiene is sometimes you still get decay.
